About the Owner
Joshua Schroeder was born and raised in Minnesota where his family taught him the importance of hard work and the biblical values of honesty and integrity.
With almost 10 year of experience, Joshua Schroeder continues to stay current with industry advancements and new roofing products as they are released. Josh is always looking for ways to streamline the roofing process for his customers and make the entire process as stress-free as possible. Having a problem with your roof can feel overwhelming and we are here to help YOU.

Is there a warranty on my new roof?
Gilded Summit Roofing offers a 10 year workmanship warranty on all re-roofs and new construction roofs. Many roofing supply manufacturers also offer product warranties, anywhere from 30 years to lifetime, depending on the products you choose.
Do you have a referral program?
Please let us know if you have been referred to us by a previous customer or have had work done by us in the past. We are a family run business and we consider our customers a part of our family. Referrals and repeat business is always appreciated and we take are of our loyal customers.
How long do shingle roofs last?
In Florida, shingles typically last 18-20 years. Due to extreme heat and intense weather, shingles start losing their granules, and the asphalt in the shingles starts to crack and lose life. At this point, repairs and sometimes a full re-roof is needed.
Is a metal roof loud in the rain?
Metal roofs are no louder in the rain then shingle or tile roofs. When you think of a metal roof, images of a pole barn, with a metal roof that is noisy in rain may spring to mind. Fortunately, traditional homes are built with plywood, wood trusses, attic space and attic insulation, mitigating any sound permeation. Noisy rain is not a problem!

I had two old skylights replaced. Josh arrived when scheduled and he was very thorough with the installation process. He even thought to have me view the new skylights from inside before he secured them, ensuring that they appeared square and straight in the opening. I was very pleased with the work and price.
